The gifted photographer Benny Lam tries to present the cruel living conditions in the miniature flats of Hong Kong, one of the most costly cities in the world. Some striking photos uncovering the daily life of families, forced to live in a few square meters just because of the inflated price of real estate.
This new sequence by Benny Lam, known as Trapped, is a continue to his Subdivided Flats photographs launched in 2013, and is also developed in association with the Society for Community Organization. These pictures were used for an awareness campaign, warning the administration about the horrible living surroundings of many people in Hong Kong.
